The 2025 publishing cycle marked a milestone for MSURJ as we launched our first-ever special issue. In addition to our annual manuscript publication, we produced the Proceedings of the 6th annual McGill Undergraduate Science Showcase. The Undergraduate Science Showcase, hosted by McGill’s Office of Science Education (OSE), aims to celebrate the research conducted by undergraduate students through an annual scientific exposition. MSURJ’s publication complements this event by publishing the abstracts of the showcase in a proceedings format, similar to how society journals publish the proceedings of an Annual Meeting. This collaboration between MSURJ and the OSE marks a significant expansion of MSURJ’s operations and reflects MSURJ’s mission to promote and celebrate undergraduate research at McGill University as we continue to collaborate with the OSE in the 2025/26 academic year.
